Innovative Marketing: "Spreading the Good News"

The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston launched a new marketing campaign. Their goal is to make known the unique mission of Catholic schools in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston as a means of evangelization, academic development and spiritual formation. And to promote the benefits of Catholic schools in order to attract and retain families and students. In addition to assisting each school in developing effective and innovative marketing materials, the Department of Catholic Schools has launched state-wide marketing initiatives that include: billboards television and radio commercials continued coverage in the Catholic Spirit website design press releases designed to promote diocesan-wide school events posters, ads and other printed materials
Each school will maximize the potential of Catholic Schools Week as a marketing tool by planning activities that involve the parishes, school and local communities. The Department of Catholic Schools will work with school directors of development and advancement and a marketing consultant to advance Catholic high schools. And, schools will redesign orientation and open house events in order to make them more creative, effective and informative.
