2009 Blue Ribbon Schools

Congratulations to our 2009 Blue Ribbon School Winners!

Congratulations to the Catholic schools selected as 2009 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) - Blue Ribbon Schools. The Blue Ribbon Schools Program honors public and private elementary, middle, and high schools that are either academically superior or that demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement to high levels. Fifty private schools were among the awardees this year, including the following nine schools from the (arch)dioceses of the Mid-Atlantic Catholic Schools Consortium.

St. John Regional Catholic School, Frederick, MD  

Archdiocese of Washington
Holy Redeemer School, Kensington, MD
Our Lady of Mercy School, Potomac, MD

Corpus Christi School, Falls Church, VA
St. Agnes School, Arlington, VA
St. Mary's School, Alexandria, VA

Diocese of Richmond
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Newport News, VA
