Principal, Monsignor Slade Catholic School, Glen Burnie, MD

Monsignor Slade Catholic School, located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, an Archdiocesan Collaborative School firmly rooted in the Catholic faith, seeks a Principal. The mission of Monsignor Slade Catholic School is to promote Catholic faith and intellectual development in our students. We do this by teaching about and modeling the precepts of the Catholic faith, as well as challenging our students with a rigorous course of study. We do this so that they will use their faith, knowledge, and skills to shape their futures positively and work for the benefit of the whole society. Enrollment: 751 students in Pre-K through Grade 8

Job Responsibilities:
• Strongly believe in the viability of Catholic education and ensure the Catholic identity of the school
• Be an inspiring and visible leader at school and community events
• Lead student recruitment efforts and implement an enrollment management plan
• Instructional leadership that attracts and retains excellent faculty and staff, ensures academic goals are achieved, and maintains accreditation
• Effective organization and administration as well as implementation of policies, directives and initiatives
• Have a comprehensive working knowledge of school finance and budgeting
• Plant and facilities management that creates a safe and attractive learning environment
• Implement, monitor and annually update the strategic plan
• Develop/maintain an ongoing program for institutional advancement and fundraising
• Collaborate with all stakeholders including faculty, staff, students, parents, clergy and school board
• Implement and integrate Instructional Technology
• Establish this institution as a unique school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution in educational administration, supervision, curriculum development, or education
• Minimum of five years teaching experience;three or more years in a Catholic school at the appropriate level
• Minimum of three or more years of administration experience in a Catholic school preferred
• Has or is working toward Maryland certification as a Principal (Admin I/II). Valid MSDE teaching certification or eligibility
• Catechist certification or ongoing faith formation
• Demonstrated leadership ability in an educational environment. Candidate must have the ability to inspire the school community: students, faculty and staff, parents, board and clergy
• Practicing Catholic, fully able to model Christian values and adhere to the teachings of the church and participate in the sacramental life of the Church
• Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic education

Saint Jane Frances Catholic School, located in Pasadena, Maryland, an Archdiocesan STEM School firmly rooted in the Catholic faith, seeks a Principal. Saint Jane Frances Catholic School is a faith centered community which encourages the intellectual, spiritual, moral cultural and social development of its students. Teaching Positions

 

Resource Teacher, Holy Redeemer School, Kensington, MD

Holy Redeemer School in Kensington is seeking another full time resource teacher to join its Resource team. Applicant must have:
1. Masters in Special Education and/or Curriculum Instruction/Supervision of Reading
2. Experience as a classroom teacher
3. Experience with the Response to Intervention practices
4. Experience with instructional differentiation pracitices
5. Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively.

Qualifications:  At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred; master's degree preferred; citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required.

Physics Teacher, Saint Gertrude High School, Richmond, VA
