Principal or School Leadership

► Elementary (PreK-8) School Principal, Annunciation Catholic School, Washington, DC

We now seek a uniquely qualified Principal to provide effective educational leadership to maintain exceptional academic standards, and model respect for our richly diverse multicultural student body.

Qualifications:

  • Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with knowledge and strong commitment to Catholic education
  • Master's degree in School Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years successful teaching; and 3 years in an administrative leadership role
  • Demonstrable success in achieving highest standards in education 
  • Proven success in providing strong leadership and developing effective teams

► Field Consultant, Catholic School Advantage Campaign, New York

In an effort to attract and support the Hispanic community’s fuller participation in Catholic schooling, the Office of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of New York has teamed up with the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education to launch the Catholic School Advantage Campaign. This Campaign seeks to increase the number of Hispanic children who currently benefit from the educational, social and spiritual advantages of New York’s Catholic Schools.

In anticipation of the upcoming launch, we are currently seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the Campaign’s Field Consultant. This individual will work closely with the leadership of the participating schools, as well as Hispanic community leaders, school board members, and other institutions supporting Catholic education, to ensure the widespread support and success of this groundbreaking initiative. The Executive Director reports to the President of the San Miguel School.  He/she also works closely with other Advancement Department staff developing and coordinating cultivation and solicitation strategies for San Miguel School prospects. The Executive Director is primarily responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs for the purpose of securing foundation, corporate and individual donations.  Additionally, he/she will coordinate and drive the launching of annual fundraising events.
