Strategic Priorities

Our common mission in all aspects of Catholic education is to teach as Jesus taught and to imitate Him in all we say and do in our parishes, schools, neighborhoods, and throughout our world.

Discover Catholic Schools

and Consider a Future of Faith, Fulfillment, and Achievement

Each year, as parents, grandparents, and students consider the available education options, countless families, both Catholic and non-Catholic, decide to entrust their children's education to a Catholic school.

Faith Formation and Moral Development
From the first day of class to graduation day, your child will be encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith through religious education, prayer, Christian service, and participation in the Mass and sacraments.  A cross-curricular emphasis on Christian values encourages students to become responsible, moral citizens.

Academic Excellence
In the Mid-Atlantic, several Catholic schools have been recognized as No Child Left Behind—Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence; others have received recognition for outstanding college preparatory curriculums, Honors and Advanced Placement programs, or innovative programs in science, languages, the arts, music, technology, and more.

Service to Others
Catholic school students are encouraged to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and live a life of service to one another. Community service projects are ongoing at most schools and, in many cases, a requisite part of the curriculum.

Compassionate Community
Parents, teachers, clergy, and church members all contribute to Catholic schools’ vibrant sense of community. In welcoming students from many faiths and racial and ethnic backgrounds, Catholic schools believe that a diversity of cultures, experiences, and ideas enriches the learning environment.
